As a member of Oak Bank Credit Union, you already enjoy the great rates and the many outstanding services provided by your credit union in your communities. Show us your sign of approval and refer someone new to Oak Bank Credit Union - act now!! Every time you refer someone new to the credit union and that person becomes a member and indicates you as the referring member, you'll be entered into a Grand Prize draw.

Our current Grand Prize is a $500 one-year term deposit that you can invest as a TFSA, RRSP, RESP or a GIC with Oak Bank Credit Union.

Referring a new member is easy. Drop by any Oak Bank branch and pick up Member Referral Cards or click here to download a copy to print. Then give a completed card to friends and family who you believe would appreciate being treated as you are - a valued member of their community credit union!

Rules & Regulations

Who qualifies?

Any existing Oak Bank member in good standing, over the age of 18, may refer a new member(ship) to the credit union.
To qualify, the member must not be an existing account holder of Oak Bank or be a signor on a membership with an existing Oak Bank account holder.

Member Conditions

Actively show their approval of their credit union by referring family and friends to become a member of the credit union and bank in their communities.

If their name is randomly drawn, the member must correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question in order to claim the prize. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries received for each annual draw.

The Referral Program is not intended to reward members referring existing members of the credit union to open another Oak Bank Credit Union account. A new membership refers to a person (not business) new to the Oak Bank Credit Union opening a first-time membership.

The new membership owner does not have to be 18 years of age or older.
