ONLINE BANKING CONVERSION

New Statements Coming Soon

After conversion your statement's look and timing will change. The new statements will show all of your accounts at once, giving you a complete overview of your financial position. This will also allow us to reduce the amount of paper we consume, and therefore be a greener, more environmentally friendly organization.

You can expect to see these new statements arrive in your mailbox in April. Please note that the new statements will not be available for pick-up at the branches. Going forward you can expect to see all future statements arriving in your mailbox. The dates spanning your account activity under the new statements will occur from the fifth of one month to the fifth of the next month.

Internet and Telephone Banking Changes

It is important to note that once we've converted to the new banking system, ALL your account history from CU@Home will be lost! Please make sure you print or download a copy of your history just before Conversion Weekend which begins March 5 @ 5:30PM. In addition to your account history being lost, any bill payments you've setup on CU@Home will also be lost and need to be re-entered. Please understand that these resets to your account are done to safe-guard your personal information while conversion is occurring.

After conversion you will notice changes to how you login to CUByPhone telephone banking. One of the biggest differences is that you will need an active Member Card in order to access the new system. If you do not have a Member Card please contact us to get one. If you have more than one Member Card, please use the card with the lowest number when logging into the new system. CUByPhone will have a new toll-free number within Manitoba: 1-877-311-5648.

Please remember to visit our website after conversion and use the link on our home page to access the new internet banking site. All bookmarks and favorites made to CU@Home prior to our conversion will no longer work. For your protection, any memorized cards that were saved will be deleted and your password will be reset to the last 7 digits of your Member Card.

Conversion Weekend

All conversion work will begin on March 5 after the branches' normal hours, starting at 5:30PM. Please note that our ATMs will be unavailable the evening of March 5, but will become available by March 6. From March 5 at 5:30PM - March 8 our internet and telephone banking, as well as our branches will be CLOSED. The branches will re-open and internet and telephone banking will become available Tuesday March 9. To minimize the impact you experience during conversion weekend, we kindly ask that you make arrangements to secure other forms of payment such as cash, cheques, and credit cards for any purchases made over conversion weekend. It is important to remember that although your debit card will still function over conversion weekend it will have spending and withdrawal limits.

Dedicated Call Center

To help assist and effectively serve you after our conversion, we will have a special call center in place to handle the expected increase in calls about the new banking system and accessing your accounts. We are continuing to make every preparation possible to minimize the impact you experience from our conversion process and we ask that you please bear with us as we overcome some obstacles along the way.

Why Convert?

With technology continually becoming more and more advanced, our current banking system can no longer live up to today's fast paced and demanding environment. Although, the decision was not made lightly, we believe that converting to a new banking system will help us to streamline and improve the efficiency of our service to those that made it possible for us to still be here today - our members.

Our management and staff are hard at work learning the capabilities and potential of the new banking system. We are doing our best to understand everything possible in order to provide the exceptional quality service you expect and deserve, but we realize there will be some obstacles along the way that we will need to overcome. We ask that you please bear with us during such times as we work through the difficulties and learn to assist you more efficiently and effectively.

When is Conversion?

March 9, 2010 is our official conversion date when we will be operating under the new banking system. In order to ensure a smooth transition from the old banking system to the new one, we will be preparing your membership data to be transferred over to the new banking system starting March 5 at 5:30PM  and ending after March 8, 2010.

What are some new features of the new banking system?

The new banking system will be more powerful and feature-rich than our current system. We want to give you more control and thankfully today's technology is enabling us to provide you with those options. So, what kind of new features and changes can you expect to see after conversion? Here's a sneak peak at some of the new products and services we're working towards:
